Elden Ring is a soul-borne game. It was voted the top game of 2022. The DLC, Shadow of the Erdtree, came out on June 21, 2024. As of now, people are saying it is one of the hardest and best DLCs out there. BANDAI NAMCO and FromSoftware created the game.
Elden Ring is an enormous open-world game with brutal combat. For all the games in the series, Elden Ring is the best and easiest. Still, it is notoriously difficult; multiple bosses make it hard, such as Melania Blade of Miquella, Promised Consort Radahn, and Bayle the Dread. You can do numerous different builds like magic and melee, but some people combine many other things to one-shot bosses. The game, on average, for the first time playing, takes about 50 hours to complete, and the DLC takes about 30 hours to beat. In the early game the game is less enjoyable but the farther you get the more fun it is. The Shadow of the Erdtree is a late-game thing, and the recommended level is 150.
Speaking of level, there are eight stats to upgrade. The first stat is vigor which raises your health. Second is mind, this raises your magic amount. Third is endurance; this raises your stamina for attacking and your equip-load so you can carry more gear. Fourth and fifth are strength and dexterity, which raise attack power. Sixth and seventh raise faith and intelligence faith is used for fire and holy magic and intelligence raises frost and gravity magic. Eighth is arcane increases discovery stat, raising your odds of an enemy dropping an item. There are other ways to raise stats too. In the DLC there are scadurtree fragments that raise attack power. There are also spirit ashes or summons these are used in boss fights and there are 64. They can be upgraded to level 10; some are bad some are good. There is another way to upgrade spirit ashes using revered spirit ash blessings.
On the topic of stats, the weapons. A lot of weapons have stat requirements. These are the so your weapon will scale and deal more damage. There are two types of weapons: somber (special) and normal. The somber weapons are special they are like lightning bolts and fire swords, and they go up to level 10. The normal weapons are like basic swords and spears, which reach level 25. There are 308 different weapons you can get, 38 weapon categories in the DLC, and eight new categories, and 40 new weapons.
To pair with all that, great runes do multiple different things. Some raise your stats or raise your damage so give you hp on elimination of enemies. On the topic of runes, that is the way you level up and buy stuff. These can be earned by beating enemies and selling stuff. These are the most important things in the game.
In my opinion, Elden Ring is my favorite game right now. I would recommend this game. Also the other of this series Demon Souls, Dark Souls 1-3, Bloodborne, and Sekiro Shadows Die Twice.
