Students in Miss Hebrank’s 7th-grade Science class created “Stitchbirds.”
Students had to figure out the genetic makeup of their bird given the parent’s genetic traits. They used a punnett square to find the probability of what trait the offspring will have.
Traits included; ear tufts, throat stripes, bill length and shape, tail length, and the eye, head, wing and body color, These are a couple of the birds that were created!
