Here are the top 5 things to do at Kennywood during Phantom Fall Fest. Starting at number five, we have The Potato Patch. The Potato Patch has been a fan-favorite place to eat at Kennywood since the 1980s. It serves a variety of toppings for fries, such as cheese or cheese and bacon. No matter what time of year, The Potato Patch will be very popular, which is why it’s on this list.  

The number four spot goes to Ghostwood Estates Dark Ride.  This ride opened in 2008 and replaced the fan-favorite Gold Rusher. This ride is exciting because there is a pre-show before you get on the ride, which you rarely see at amusement parks. While on the ride, you will shoot targets that trigger different events in the estate. This ride also has a FIRE soundtrack and fits the theme of Halloween. 

The number three slot goes to the Kennyville Cemetery. This haunted house will take you around the cemetery while “zombies” escape from their graves with an unnatural hunger for blood. This attraction comes around every fall for Phantom’s Fall Fest and is usually a trendy haunted house.  

The number two spot goes to Voodoo Bayou, a very unique haunted house. This haunted house takes place in the ride tracks of raging rapids while it’s closed for the cold weather. The unique spectacle of being in a ride system solidifies this haunted house as the second-place spot for the best things to do during Phantoms Fall Fest.  

 Finally, the number one spot goes to The Phantom’s Revenge! The Phantom’s Revenge opened in 2001 and replaced the Steel Phantom. This ride is often regarded as the best in Kennywood due to its unique layout. Its layout includes many close encounters with the Thunderbolt and the terrain at the bottom of the ravine, which provides spooky near-miss experiences. And when the entire event is named after it, you know it will be great.
