In this article, we are putting Mr. Fenton and Camry Hutchinson, an 8th grader in Mr. Fenton’s period 3/4 English class, to the test with 3 challenging words. Feel free to spell along with them! The selected words were migraine, satisfactory, and Everglades. We selected these words because we thought they were somewhat challenging for people to spell. We asked Mr. Fenton to join us because in Mr. Fenton’s 8th-grade class, he assigns 50-word spelling tests that are worth a lot of points. The first word that was asked to spell was M-I-G-R-A-I-N-E. It is Camry’s turn to spell first; she spells it M-I-G-R-A-N-E, which is incorrect. Mr. Fenton is quick to revise Camry’s spelling of the word. The next word was spelled S-A-T-I-S-F-A-C-T-O-R-Y. Camry spelled it correctly on her first try, and Mr. Fenton approved of it. The final word is spelled E-V-E-R-G-L-A-D-E-S. Camry spelled this word correctly, and Mr. Fenton quoted, “You must have an amazing English teacher!” Thank you for reading about the Spelling Bee, and the video link is below!
